Lavender House as a venue,  is designed to complement the natural beauty of the Tamar Valley             and surrounds. The depth of our partnership with the land is reflected in our being environmentally aware. The mounded rows of lavender, commencing close to the front entrance, thrive in the local soil and climate, reminiscent of Provence. We rely solely on the natural rainfall for the survival of our lavender fields.

Lavender House functions in a self sustaining cycle with the interdependent  functions relying on one another. The business commenced with the manufacture of lavender products and developed a reputation for producing a quality product. This in turn required the formation of the lavender fields as a source of raw materials. The increasing demand for the products brought about the construction of the factory and the start of the gift-shop. The profits from the sale of the lavender products contributed towards the establishment and maintenance of the lavender fields and gardens. In turn, the gardens and lavender fields support the entire operation by attracting new customers in preparation for another cycle of growth. Lavender House will be evolving for some time to come and we look forward to sharing our success
